PROInstaller™ - PRO SAF FLEX Flashing System

ProSAFflex™ with MOLD BLOCKER™ is an elastomeric / stretchable self-adhering flashing. The flashing has a synthetic butyl rubber adhesive that will remain pliable and tacky. The backing is a cross laminated high performance film that contains an antifungal agent to inhibit the growth of mold. The film stretches and is elastomeric. The film has superior tear, puncture and abrasion resistance and provides maximum vapor and moisture resistance.

SAF™ has been tested with all the PRO Installer® Products and is compatible. If this product is used in close proximity with any other sealant or elastomer, a compatibility test must bee conducted by the purchaser or user prior to acceptance.

Surface Preparation:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Dust and loose particles should be wiped from surfaces with a clean rag. Mill finish aluminum may contain an invisible oil film or oxide. Clean with a good degreasing solvent such as xylene or toluene.

Determine that all solvent has been removed from the surface prior to applying the flashing. In cases where doubt exists, contact Schnee-Morehead®, Inc. technical service for recommendations.
