PROInstaller™ - Mold Blocker Housewrap System

Pro Installer® MOLDBlocker™ Housewrap is a woven HDPE fabric with micro perforations to allow the wall to breath and prevent moisture vapor from being trapped in. This product features the exclusive protection of MOLDBlocker™.

MOLDBlocker™ is a patented antifungal coating applied to the interior side of the fabric. This coating is designed to inhibit the growth of Mold in the instance of incidental moisture being trapped between the Housewrap and underlying cellulose materials. MOLDBlocker™ Housewrap is designed to be used as a water and moisture barrier for use in residential and commercial sidewall construction.

Installation Instructions:
Pro Installer® Housewrap is to be installed on the exterior side of exterior walls over exterior
sheeting or insulation. The printed side is installed facing to the outside.

Pro Installer® Housewrap is to be installed after wall framing and before windows or doors are installed. The roll is placed 6 inches (152.4 mm) from the corner and fastened to studs using 1” crown staples or plastic cap roofing nails. The sheet is unrolled (with printed side to the exterior) horizontally around the building and fastened to the studs and plates.

Fasteners are to be spaced 24 inches (609.6 mm) on center along the studs and 8 inches (203.8 mm) on center along the top and bottom plates.

Pro Installer® Housewrap should overlap a minimum of 6" (151.4 mm) when installed vertically. Tape all exposed edges. When applying over foam insulation boards, the sheet is fastened with roofing nails or other large headed nails long enough to penetrate the insulation and grip the framing studs.

Pro Installer® Housewrap needs to be covered with an exterior wall finish complying with applicable code. Warning: Pro Installer housewrap is slippery and should not be walked on. Kickjacks or scaffolding should be used for exterior work above the first floor.
